Eric Wedge’s Mustache Under Attack

New Seattle Mariners manager Eric Wedge has a mustache, and it is under attack. In a recent Mariners preview, Big League Stew’s ‘Duk says he’s “creeped out by” Wedge’s ‘stache and  links to a bigoted Facebook group “People Against Eric Wedge’s Mustache.”

The Facebook hate group is apparently a leftover from Wedge’s former post with the Cleveland American League franchise and has all of three members.

The hate group’s logic: “He is no Tom Selleck.”

My god. If that was the criteria for having a mustache, who among us could have one? We at 7th Inning Stache wish Eric Wedge and especially his mustache the best this season as they persevere against this pathetic prejudice which has no place on the internets.

On the brighter side of Eric Wedge news, Lookout Landing has named him “The Most .Giffable Manager in Mariners history” and has two mustache-tic animated .gifs of Wedge and his ‘stache.
