While Dave Chalk was a two-time All-Star and played in the 1980 World Series, his main claim to fame is how similar his name is to one of today’s finest professional baseball writers.  However, many of baseball’s greatest mustaches did not adorn the faces of particularly great baseball players.  As a symbol of that fact, and since David Chalk edits this fine website, Dave Chalk is a 7IS MHOFer.
